Single Sign On – Two Factor Authentication

Enterprises need to allow client access to different business applications without data leakage. These applications might not use common authentication. Each application has its own user directory store. For instance, in an organization, Windows uses Active Directory service to authenticate users, and middleware applications integrate the front-end and back-end applications.

AppScaler provides centralized and flexible application access authentication to consolidate identity access management infrastructure and realize enhanced security at a reduced operational cost.

Two Factor Authentication is a method of access control in which a user is granted access only after successfully presenting several separate pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism. AppScaler currently supports Radius and LDAP as 2FA authentication schema.

The following is thehe process for AppScaler SSO two factor authentication configuration.

  • Add one Active Directory User
  • Add one Active Directory based AAA Server
  • Add one Radius based AAA Server
  • Add one SSO Profile for AAA Servers
  • Add one Access Policy
  • Add one virtual service
  • Configure SSO for virtual service
